Single beam survey software
Dutch survey software specialists Quality Positioning Services (QPS) of Zeist have extended their established QINSy 8 series of data acquisition and navigation software modules with introduction of a new low cost suite specifically designed to support single beam survey operations, QINSy Inshore.
The new addition is said to offer a seamless data flow from single beam survey planning, data acquisition and validation to volume calculation and scaled plotting features.
Apart from hydrographic surveys, it can also be used for general positioning and marine navigation applications. Sensors supported include single beam echosounders, GNSS receivers and surface positioning systems.
