34th RenewableUK conference and exhibition
More than 5,000 participants and 300 exhibitors are expected at the 34th annual RenewableUK conference and exhibition in Glasgow on 30 October through 1 November.
Exhibitors active in the UK wind, wave and tidal energy sector include manufacturers, developers, contractors, consultants, suppliers/service companies, electricity generators/utilities, financiers, insurance companies, research institutes, engineers, recruitment consultants and many more.
There will be two pavilions within the exhibition showcasing companies who work solely within small and medium wind, wave and tidal industries.
The three day conference programme has been designed by the industry for the industry. Sessions will address policy, development and technical aspects in dedicated streams of onshore and offshore wind energy, wave and tidal energy, and small and medium wind systems.
RenewableUK 2012 will be packed with a range of side events including social and networking events, consultation sessions, and a careers fair. Held on the eve of the event, the Civic Reception will welcome delegates to Glasgow at the City Chambers. The Exhibitor’s Reception, sponsored by The Crown Estate and held in the exhibition hall at the end of Day 1, provides a chance to catch up with colleagues over a drink while the Official Conference Reception will be held at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum at the same time.
