Alphatron to offer ECDIS training
Alphatron Marine’s training centre is now certified to perform Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems (ECDIS) IMO model course 1.27.
The Alphatron Training Centre will now offer the complete range of ECDIS training, both generic and type specific, in a five day course in Rotterdam for Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) (including Manila amendments) and vessels under the Dutch flag.
The training is carried out using individual simulators and includes theoretical syllabi. Alphatron’s course also offers training using a full-size bridge simulator that enables trainees to test what they’ve learned together. On-site training is also available.
Training can be provided for a new ship equipped with new equipment, operational training for the crew and fault finding and/or maintenance training for technical staff.
