Baltic bounces back
With container traffic to and from Russia via Hamburg picking up again, growing demand for feeder transport capacity has prompted the launch of an additional service between the Ports of Hamburg and St Petersburg.
Two type Sietas 151 feeder ships of Delta Shipping Lines will be servicing Hamburg’s CTA, CTB and CTH terminals on a weekly basis, calling in St Petersburg at the PLP and NMT terminals. The 100m long ships can carry up to 510 TEU at a service speed of 15.5 knots.
