BigRoll Shipping joint venture rolled up
BigLift Shipping has decided to end its co-operation with Rolldock Shipping in the Joint Venture ”BigRoll Shipping” from January 1st 2018. From then on, the Heavy Transport vessels will be added to the BigLift fleet.
Ongoing contracts and tenders of BigRoll Shipping will still be executed in co-operation with Rolldock Shipping.
BigLift Shipping, a member of Spliethoff Group, is a heavy lift shipping company with a history dating back to 1973. BigLift’s fleet consists of 14 modern heavy lift vessels with lifting capacities up to 1,800 mt. In 2018 a third Happy S-type vessel as well as two BigLift MC-Class heavy transport vessels will be added to the fleet.
BigLift Shipping has provided no explanation for the ending of the joint venture.
