Brude acquired

Survitec Group has acquired Brude Safety AS from the Kopperneas Group – a move which gives the company three additional service stations in Norway and a new range of products.

The acquisition, which was completed for an undisclosed amount, brings 48 employees at three locations in Ålesund, Bergen and Stokmarknes. Survitec says it also gives it a place in the well established Norwegian offshore market place.

Simon Withey, chief executive, Survitec Group, said: “This is a significant, positive step forwards in our growth strategy. The Norwegian market is home to a large number of ship owners and operators and the acquisition of Brude Safety provides Survitec Group with direct access to this region.”

“It also provides an exciting range of Fast Rescue Boats, Gangways and MES which are highly complementary to the existing Survitec portfolio and will be of great interest to our marine and offshore customers worldwide,” he added.

This acquisition also forms part of the Group’s strategy to expand the services element of its business in key ports and locations around the world.
