Cammell takes award

Resurgent UK shipyard Cammell Laird Shiprepairers and Shipbuilders is celebrating being crowned ‘ Business of the Year’ at the prestigious Liverpool Daily Post Business Awards. The shipyard had its most successful year since its 2002 founding last year, signing a contract worth up to £ 1bn with the Ministry of Defence to maintain 11 ships in the Royal Fleet Auxiliary for up to 25 years.
