Cherbourg in the loop
The Chanel Islands company Huelin-Renouf Shipping adds the Normandy Port of Cherbourg this month to the lifeline freight link it operates between the Channel Islands and the UK, with a weekly visit to Cherbourg en route for Southampton.
The move comes only a week after the company added Alderney to its schedule , during a period of substantial investment and growth. The frequency of visits to Cherbourg is expected to increase once the route is established.
