Cleaner car transport

Vehicle transportation specialist Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL) continues its industry leading efforts to reduce the environmental impact of deep sea cargo movements, calculating that it has cut CO2 emissions as measured in grams per ton kilometre (g/tkm) by 6.9% last year compared to 2007 and by 18.2% since 2004. Between 2001 and 2008, WWL saved 121,293 tons of SO2 emissions by using lower sulphur content fuel than the industry average.
