Concordia upright
Described as the largest and most expensive salvage operation ever undertaken, the Costa Concordia has been righted in an operation that took 19 hours and cost upwards of £500m (€600m).
Italian salvor Micoperi and American salvor Titan, with support from the UK’s Dalby Offshore, worked together to perform the parbuckling operation, which was judged to be completed at 04:00 on Tuesday morning local time.
