Crown for Kings Lynn

The UK Department for Transport has published new statistics which identify the ABP Port of King’ s Lynn as Britain’ s fastest growing port. Trade through the East Anglian inland port increased last year by a whopping 33% at a time when many of the major ports saw a drop. The port’ s marketing strategy, which encourages business to use water transport instead of Britain’ s congested roads, netted a 48% increase in export cargo.
