Damen trading website
Damen Trading, the brokerage department of the Damen Shipyards Group, has a new brokerage website that includes registration, transport, vessel modifications and trade-in terms for owners looking to buy new Damen vessels.
Further services include the sale of coasters, crewboats, patrol boats and passenger ferries for which the new website features vessel specifications, photographs and easier access for clients inquiring about the sale of their vessel.
Michel Radjiman, sales manager, Damen Trading, said: “As the Damen corporate website has recently been refreshed and integrated, it was a logical step for us to follow suit.
“If a client has an older vessel that they would like to sell, we can handle this. We can also do trade-ins for newly purchased vessels from Damen Shipyards or we can source a cost-effective second-hand alternative,” he added.
Damen Trading has seen a strong increase in the demand of used vessels with recent sales including four vessels under the direct ownership of Damen. This includes two 1605 Fast Crew Suppliers and two Stan Tugs 2608.
Furthermore, the company has also acted as a broker for two Damen Stan Tugs (a 1605 and a 1906), as well as a pusher and a crane vessel.
Damen Trading also recently brokered the sale of Stan Tug 1906 SMS Leah by Sinbad Marine Services Ireland to Coastworks Operations Ltd in Scotland.
