Dometic Marine expands East
Sweden-based Dometic Marine has signed exclusive dealership contracts with two distributors in Dubai to sell its Cruisair and Marine Air equipment.
Marina Yachts LLC has been named an exclusive dealership for premium Dometic brand Cruisair and has been confimed as the exclusive local commissioning agent to support the Gulf Craft shipyard business.
Julien Lefeuvre, head of marine OEM – EMEA, Dometic, said: “We are very pleased to announce the new set-up of our distributors in Dubai which will serve to meet an increased demand for air-conditioning equipment in the region.”
This new set-up comes with Dometic’s recent acquisition of the assets of Marvair’s marine air conditioning business to further strengthen Dometic’s presence in the Middle East region.
“Together with the Marvair acquisition, it enables us to continue to grow our business and focus on supporting our customers in this challenging area,” he added.
Natheer Technical Services, which is already Dometic’s exclusive SeaLand dealer for OEM customers, is confirmed as the exclusive Marine Air dealer for the UAE.
Both distributors also sell the Dometic brand products to countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) without exclusivity.
Dometic is also in the process of extending its support to all of Marvair’s OEM customers and is providing current customers with application engineering, warranty supports, parts and on-going service.
