Electric and Hybrid 2015
Only six weeks on from the inaugural Electric & Hybrid Marine World Expo event that took place in Amsterdam, more than 90 marine propulsion companies have already confirmed their participation at next year’s event, which will take place at the Amsterdam RAI on 23, 24 and 25 June 2015.
According to the show’s organisers, not only have many of this year’s exhibitors rebooked for the 2015 show, but many new marine propulsion pioneers have signed up to be part of the 2015 event, including Norwegian Electric Systems, Wilhelmsen Technical Solutions, Cummins, XALT Energy, Liebherr-Components and InPower. Next year’s event promises to build on the 2014 event, which provided over 120 exhibitors with the opportunity to showcase their latest and next-generation electric and hybrid technologies designed for marine applications of all shapes, sizes and requirements.
The conference component of the expo is also due to be expanded for 2015. The 2014 event saw over 270 delegates attend the three-day conference featuring 70 speakers, next year, the plan is for the conference to be expanded to two stages to allow over 100 speakers to be accommodated.
