The IMCA's Resilience Awareness Programme is demonstrating highly encouraging download statistics

IMCA’s programme launched in January has so far seen well over 2,000 downloads from the IMCA website and its YouTube page.

“The free-to-use programme is a great example of how IMCA can step-in to promote and develop a project of common interest to our membership,” said Allen Leatt, CEO, IMCA.

Challenging issues

The programme was developed by leading members of IMCA eager to help the industry’s workforce cope and adjust to challenging issues in recent years.

It is tailored specifically for the men and women working in the marine contracting industry but is freely available to all sectors for the betterment of the whole industry.

One user sums up some of the reactions IMCA said it has received so far.

“The videos are very interesting and are reminding me about my own positivity and resilience that I can reach for. The programme also helped me think about how I can support my team through any change, should I need to.”

Filming of the videos took place onboard vessels operated by Subsea 7, Saipem, and Heerema Marine Contractors.

The programme is sponsored by IMCA’s board member companies: Allseas, Fugro, Heerema Marine Contractors, Saipem, Subsea 7, TechnipFMC and McDermott International and is based on a Shell concept.
