Encrypted smartphone supply
Netherlands based marine electronics expert, Alphatron Marine has been selected as a supplier for an innovative new encrypted smartphone for the commercial marine sector.
The Hoox encrypted smartphone, by mobile comms security expert, Privatas, allows all calls, emails and text messages to be completely secure. It has previously been awarded ANSSI certification and a listing on the NATO’s list for secure communication devices.
This means it is virtually impossible for the device to be hacked, which makes it perfectly suitable for those who work in the safety and security sectors.
Alphatron Marine is able to offer personalised packages tailor made to appeal to discerning customers’ needs, taking care of not just the airtime and Hoox smartphone, but also a 24/7 support network.
The firm unveiled three new state of the art JRC fully integrated bridge systems last year including a one man bridge system that has three 46-inch displays for use on coastal patrol vessels and offshore workboats, combining radar, ECDIS, conning, alarm monitoring and DP data.
