Escola Europea teaches short sea shipping
Between 24 and 27 of March 2012 the Escola Europea de Short Sea Shipping organised and presented a Motorways of the Sea Training course for students of the University of Barcelona.
The 53 students, currently studying Masters degree courses on globalisation, businesses and emerging markets, came from Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Germany, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Panama, Poland, Russia, Spain, Turkey, the United States and Venezuela.
The Motorways of the Sea Training course teaches intermodal logistics, short-distance maritime services and the Motorways of the Sea, bringing the students closer to the working environment, port operations and the people involved in providing these services.
The next courses of the Escola Europea de Short Sea Shipping will take place between April and June and will be organised for European students; particularly for students from the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and France. For further information contact Enrica Marinari (info@2e3s.eu).
