Falck celebrates 20 years
Falck Safety Services is marking two decades in business this year, after first launching in the UK in 1994.
Originally launched in Denmark more than 100 years ago, Falck now has 32 training centres across 19 countries, with two sites in Aberdeen and one in Teesside, providing delegates with realistic, quality training in a safe and controlled environment using state-of-the-art equipment and simulators.
“It is a great achievement to reach 20 years of business in the UK and a significant milestone for the firm as we continue to invest and strengthen our services to offer first class training in the area,” said Colin Leyden, managing director, UK.
The company globally delivers over 200 safety and survival training courses to more than 340,000 people each year, and offers various training services including offshore survival, fire, technical, maritime and renewables.
“For 20 years we have been committed to providing quality training that will safeguard offshore energy and shipping workers and prepare them for all eventualities of the offshore environment. We continually go the extra mile with additional exercises to deliver as realistic training as possible,” Mr Leyden added.
With a focus on its 20-year achievement, the safety training experts are looking to the future and extending its reach into sectors where value can be added.
Falck Safety Services has experience servicing the global oil and gas, shipping, renewable energy, military and aviation industries.
