First CEDA Dredging Conference in the Gulf

The first Central Dredging Association (CEDA) international conference on dredging and land reclamation in the Arabian Gulf, titled ‘ Dredging and Sustainability: How Wide is the Gulf?’ , takes place on 6 – 7 May 2008 in conjunction with the Ship & Port + Europort Maritime Exhibition at the Qatar International Exhibition Centre, Doha, Qatar.

The two day conference and technical visit to The Pearl – Qatar will focus on the undertaking of dredging projects in sympathy with the marine environment. It will give a comprehensive overview of a range of challenges and the novel solutions employed by developers and the dredging industry alike.Presentations will be given by invited speakers representing a broad range of expertise and with extensive experience in the Gulf region. Between speaker presentations, there will be opportunity for networking and time to visit the exhibition.
