Formaco to meet demand
The Netherlands Formaco is gearing up for a busy market in both the offshore and maritime sectors as the global demand for energy continues to grow.
“On a macroeconomic level, it is true that the world’s energy demands have continued to rise, and that major clients have had a part to play. Given the long lead times for instance, large forgings and castings therefore represent an early recognition of how significant the market demands are for a business,” Robert Heester, the company’s forgings and castings director, explained.
The company sources its large and heavy forgings and castings for its clients in the Benelux region from Western European partners, including Metalcam Italy, FMA Italy, Carl Vorelaender Germany and LBI France, among others.
“Our production in the field of large forgings and castings for the year 2014 is already more or less complete. Now, we can see that our major clients in the Benelux region are signing up for production throughout 2015 to ensure that this upward trend continues,” he added.
The company will be exhibiting at Offshore Energy, at Amsterdam Rai from 15 to 16 October 2013 (booth 11.089) and Europort, taking place from 5 to 8 November 2013 in Ahoy, Rotterdam (booth 5502).
