Good news on Ouse
UK operator PD Ports achieved a full calendar year without any reportable accidents at its shortsea port of Howden on the River Ouse.
The Tamar is faster than its predecessor, and is the most technologically advanced lifeboat ever to be produced by the RNLI.A ‘safety is no accident’ philosophy played a big part in the mark being set last month. PD Ports’ team at Keadby on the River Trent has now achieved more than 1,000 days without a reportable accident. PD Ports employs some 1,330 staff at 30 UK locations.
