High latitude radar

America’ s Northrop Grumman Sperry Marine has received type approval from the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping for its VisionMaster FT family of marine radars for high speed and standard craft. The approvals relate to the growing importance of the Polar Regions for the maritime transportation industry. The VisionMaster FT transceivers are thus specified for operation at -40 degrees C and meet new performance standards for high latitude navigation.
