High Speed HDPE Workboats
The Netherlands-based manufacturer Tideman Boats, specialized in High Speed HDPE Workboats, has been established as a split off from Dutch Workboats.
It all started with the idea to create a workboat that moves fast, is safe and indestructible. According to Bruno Tideman: “Innovation is about improving what’s bothering you. For us: vulnerable boat materials in rough environments: That bothered us, tremendously.”
‘Right is easy’, that’s Bruno Tideman’s conviction. That’s why Tideman Boats works with just one model (called the RBB), but available in three different sizes. The model is based on the renowned RIB-hull. This is how it works: 1. Choose the size, 2. Choose the propulsion and 3. Choose the options to fit the deck layout with the requirements.
The boatbuilder has already delivered a Navy Assault Boat to the navy in Vietnam. They’re busy building crew tenders and support boats for the boatmen in Antwerp, along with crew tenders for BP and Van Oord in the Caspian Sea. Offers have been made for: boatmen, harbour works, dredging and off shore companies, police departments and other surveillance organisations.
All boats are completely built in Holland, with the office in Amsterdam, the factory in Opmeer, and the workshop in Middenmeer. Tideman Boats claims to be the only HDPE specialist in The Netherlands.
After three years of developing the HDPE division for aluminium Fast Survey Boat specialist DutchWorkboats, Bruno decided to start a specialized HDPE boat building company.
