Kalmar American Expansion

Container handling equipment provider Kalmar, whose machines handle every fourth container or trailer transfer at terminals around the world, has boosted its presence in the American market with the acquisition of East Coast Cranes and Electrical Contracting Incorporated (ECC). ECC has over 100 employees working in ports predominantly on the US East Coast and the Gulf of Mexico but is also carrying out projects on the West Coast, in the Caribbean and in Latin America.
