Kort Propulsion Seawork contract

UK based Kort Propulsion signed contracts at Seawork with Scotlands Macduff Ship Design and Turkeys Torgem Shipbuilding to supply propulsion packages for 11 vessels destined for Saudi Arabia.

A variety of designs are being delivered: repeat orders for 30m ASD Tugs and 15m General Service boat, as well as new designs for a 45m Offshore Security Patrol boat; three 19m steel Pilot boats; a 15m Dive boat and two 15m Garbage boats.

Kort Propulsion provides powering and performance data calculations for new builds or existing vessels. This has proven to be a particular asset for smaller shipyards and boat builders.

Macduff and Torgem have been working closely together since 2009 on numerous and various contracts and tenders. Together they offer clients bespoke, modern, trendsetting, high quality and competitively priced vessels.
