Maersk Line moves
Maritime expansion goes forward in Liverpool as international shippers Maersk Line UK & Ireland, part of the vast A.P. Moller-Maersk Group, establishes a headquarters in the port city.
The Tamar is faster than its predecessor, and is the most technologically advanced lifeboat ever to be produced by the RNLI.The move will create new roles in an expansion of the company’s existing operation on the Mersey. The firm’s decision to leave London for Liverpool was based on competitive costs associated with locating and operating in the latter.
