Marine Software for Oz harbour tugs
UK-based Marine Software has supplied its Marine Planned Maintenance system (MPMWin) for two ASD harbour and escort tugs based in Brisbane, Australia.
PB Towage, which owns the 5,600 BHP tugs, already has 28 other vessels currently operating MPMWin.
The system consists of a series of planned maintenance job cards (PM JobCard), covering the vessels’ equipment. Each PM JobCard can set up to six job routines, the maintenance schedule for the job routines and a history record of previous PM job completion reports and directly entered comments.
Robust, easy to use and with minimal training need, Marine Software says “simplicity is the key to success”.
PB Daintree and PB Murrumbridgee are Lloyds classed and offer full harbour towage services for a range of customers including international container, dry bulk and tanker operators.
