MIT 40th

Since the company formed in 1974 it has expanded and developed to be a UK prime supplier of new units, spares and service of marine gears, power-shift transmissions, power take offs and associated products for drive line and propulsion systems for both marine and non-marine applications.

MIT first started its relationship with Twin Disc in 1974 and since that time has added Transfluid, Nico, Rolla, Arneson, Technodrive, BCS, Doen Water Jets, Steibel, Quincy Compressors, Rubber Design, and most recently, CMC Marine to their portfolio.

Last year saw MIT launch its own branded product, the AC Electrical Seaworker, a thruster designed for the commercial marine market.

MIT will be commemorating its 40th anniversary with a variety of events this year, including one in particular at Seawork in June.
