Moteurs Baudouin extends product range
France-based Moteurs Baudouin is expanding its product range with the introduction of the M26.3 pure marine high speed diesel engine series.
The new 6M26.3 and 12M26.3 feature six cylinders in line and 15.9 and 31.8 litres displacement, delivering 441 to 1214 kW in the 1800-2300 rpm bandwidth. They are designed to achieve the most economical marine power in terms of fuel saving, as well as continuous power optimised time between overhaul.
Baudouin’s M26.3 marine concept includes full service accessibility, durable and compact power, user friendly technology like electronic injection redundancy and reference operational life cycle cost.
The company says it is set to be approved and will be compliant with all applicable marine and inland shipping exhaust emission regulations.
The new product will be officially launched at the SMM 2014 exhibition, taking place in Hamburg in September.
