NAPA expands network
NAPA, the maritime software, services and data analysis expert, has opened a new German office to allow the firm to strengthen its market position and develop closer collaboration with customers.
Lars Nickel has also been hired as the sales director of the new office. Mr Nickel comes from Atlas Elektronic and previously had a seven year career at Imtech Marine.
The launch of Germany’s National Master Plan for Marine Technology earlier this year has poised the German shipbuilding market for growth.
NAPA said that 95% of newbuild vessels currently designed at shipyards use NAPA software.
