New Alnmaritec handling boat for Ghana

The vessel will join a growing number of vessels from Alnmaritec already successfully operating in West Africa.

This is the third larger type of Wave Handler design built by Alnmaritec. The vessel measures just over 12m and has 1000bhp of installed power. It’s fitted with Twin ‘Traktor Jets’ from North American Marine Jets designed specifically to give the vessel an exceptionally high bollard pull for line handling work, whilst retaining all the advantages of a water jet propulsion package. It also has twin command stations fitted both forward and aft to make for optimum control.

The vessel has a two tonne hydraulic capstan and a five tonne tow post with quick release hook on the aft working deck and it also has a bow landing platform for personnel transfer. Internally, it has a large air conditioned wheelhouse with passenger seating, a WC and a small galley.
