Propulsion experts celebrate
French marine propulsion manufacturer France Helices is celebrating its 40th anniversary in business this year.
The company, headquartered in Cannes, produces high quality custom made propellers, surface drive systems for fast vessels, shaft lines and spare parts.
France Helices’ team of engineers now uses Computational Fluid Dynamics Software and the latest 5 axis CNC machinery in order to control every aspect of its class-S propellers manufacture process to perfection. The company says its surface drive systems have been tested and approved for 25 years by shipyard and engine manufacturers need less spare parts than other system and have low maintenance costs.
France Helices exports to shipyards all over the world (Asia, Turkey, Algeria, Europe, Canada), and was awarded the French accolade of ‘Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant’ in 2016.
