Rapid Rescue Rewarded
A SeaFrance Dover to Calais ferry crew was awarded their countrys National Sea Rescue Society (SNSM) medal last month for the courageous rescue at sea of a passenger last November. The passenger fell overboard into very cold water from another companys ship. An alarm was raised and SeaFrance Rodin diverted its route, located the passenger, launched a high speed lifeboat and saved the persons life with a rapid response rescue.
The other members involved in the 730 pence per share cash offer are Borealis Infrastructure Management of Canada and Goldman Sachs International.
