Survival at Seawork
Marine safety and survival specialists BCB Marine unveiled a survival kit at Seawork last month which workers on offshore installations can reach for in emergency situations.
BCB Marine’s offshore survival kit is packed with essential first aid and survival essentials including distress whistles, sterile gauze swabs red lightsticks and emergency rations. With offshore installations becoming increasingly farther offshore, time is critical in an emergency and it could take awhile before search and rescue teams can reach workers in trouble on isolated infrastructures.
The offshore survival kit, which comes in various sizes, is designed to provide workers with quick and easy access to first aid and survival equipment, buying them time and helping rescue teams get to them.
