US/Sweden Energy Initiative

The US ambassador to Sweden, Michael Wood, spoke on energyand the environment at Interferrys 32nd annual conference in Stockholm lastmonth. The US and Sweden signed an implementation agreement this summer onrenewable energy cooperation which aims to make it easier to developalternative fuels such as cellulosic ethanol and dimethyl ether in order toreduce greenhouse gas emissions.
