Hydrosphere supplies buoys for Met Office

Aids to navigation supplier Hydrosphere UK Ltd has supplied several Mobilis DB 8000 data buoy platforms to the UK Met Office to replace its ageing K series ocean data acquisition system buoys.

The DB 8000 buoys will be deployed to replace those currently installed at marine automatic weather stations extending from the Bay of Biscay to the northwest of Scotland
