Briggs Marine expands at Liverpool port

The 500sqm building is expected to enable the company to offer a greater range of services and develop its offering in renewables, sub-marine engineering and port services in the North West of England.

Briggs Marine’s operations director, Iain Ross, said: “We’re delighted to be expanding our facilities and further strengthening our footprint in Liverpool. The North West of England is an important area for Briggs Marine’s growing business.

“As well as servicing existing contracts in the region, we continue to target new sectors with high growth potential and look to secure new contracts, thanks to our depth of knowledge and transferable experience. We look forward to building upon our presence and credentials in Liverpool.”

Briggs Marine currently has around 80 employees based in the region, with plans to increase this number as a result of increasing work opportunities.
