Dubai Double for Dutch Dredgers
The phenomenal sold-out success of Jumeirah Palm Island off the coast of Dubai has led to a second major land reclamation project for the Netherlands Van Oord ACZ .The dredging and marine contractors, in co-operation with another major Dutch dredging group, Ballast Ham Dredging , have now landed a 200m contract to create the land for Globe Island , agroup of separate islands representing all the continents in the world.
