ICS Sand Scrubbers at seawork
seawork exhibitor International Commercial Shipping (ICS) has recently established itself in the worldwide dredging and sand scrubbing business.
The company has tendered for contracts in Scotland and Libya and has active dredging interests in China and Brazil.
Sand scrubbing is an environmentally friendly way to deal with site contamination and oil spills. ICS can analyse contamination and determine the quickest and most cost-effective form of safe remediation.
The company operates mobile sand scrubbers which are fully road transportable. Each unit is self contained and able to process contaminated materials at rates from five to 70 tonnes per hour.
The units can be diesel or electrically powered and can be provided in larger configurations for assembly on site.
The process involves the contaminated material being separated into contaminant, clean sand (or soil), and clean water. The simple to operate scrubbers require only a clean water supply.
