New Dry Dock Gates for Shipyard
C Spencer Ltd in Barrow-on-Humber in the UK has completed work on a project to design and commission a new 30m by 12m lock gate and drive mechanisms at Dry Dock No 3 at BAE Systems Scotstoun, Glasgow shipyard, a project that involved the installation of five cellular cofferdams. The improvements to the dock were commissioned by BAe Shipbuilders to accommodate the fit out and trials of a new vessel.
