Designed for any vessel with a diesel engine and controllable pitch propeller, the IPC is installed with the Viking 25 digital electronic governor and engine control system.

This provides engine protection by monitoring the air and water temperature to run the engine most effectively for prevailing conditions.

The heart of the IPC is the Viking 25 digital electronic governor, which provides the intelligence to the controller.

This lso provides an independent overspeed protection system designed to shut down the engine automatically if it runs too fast.
