Jets New Small Vessel Toilet System
Norway-based Jets Vacuum AS has launched a new system for small ferries and workboats which retains the advantages of normal Jet Vacuum toilet systems but in a scaled down version for easy and simplified installation.
‘Jet Solo’ is a vacuum on demand system, with vacuum first created when a toilet is flushed. A Jets Vacuumarator then generates vacuum in the piping. After reaching a pre-set vacuum level the toilet valve will open and discharge.
Effluent is macerated and pumped to a collecting tank in the same operation.
The Vacuumarator can also be used for discharge of the collecting tank and can also work as a highly efficient emergency bilge water pump.
The system is lightweight and compact and is delivered as an installation kit with easy plug-in connections.
