See the new SeasAll engines at Seawork

The agreement with BUKH will apply to the SeasAll range of Hyundai engines and will enable Seawork exhibitor WaterMota to supply engines for superyachts and commercial vessels which need to comply with SOLAS regulations.

The company was founded in 1899 and has a long history of producing quality, reliable engines. It’s well established in the speciality field of SOLAS engines, ensuring they are built to rigorous standards.

‘We’re delighted to sign a deal with the company, allowing us to supply engines which conform to and are certified by the stringent conditions laid down by SOLAS.’

The Hyundai SeasAll BUKH engine has more than 22 different type approvals from national maritime authorities and classification societies. Suitable for light weight, high speed workboat applications, the ‘D’ series is a 2.2 litre four cylinder developing 170 bhp at 3,800 rpm or, for medium duty, 150 bhp at 3,200 rpm. The ‘S’ series is a 3.0 litre V6 developing 250 bhp at 3,800 rpm or 220 bhp at 3,200 rpm.

WaterMota has already sold two SeasAll engines to B V D Marine at Newport on the Isle of Wight. A D170 on a Mercruiser Bravo 1 has been fitted to a Coastworker 21 and an S250 is currently being installed. Another D170 on a Bravo 1 leg has been fitted to a Pirate 21 from Pembrokeshire Yachts in Neyland and a D170 and an S250 have been supplied to Red Bay Boats in Northern Ireland.

Watermota will try to have a workboat with a SeasAll installation on the floating pontoon at Seawork 2011 and will also be showing Doosan marine engines, Dong-I gearboxes, power take offs, steering systems and more on its stand inside the exhibition hall.
