Seawork stalwart continues to expand network
Long running Seawork exhibitor, marine engine, gearbox and generator specialist, WaterMota, has signed two new dealer agreements.
SSL Marine, which has workshops in Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne and Brighton Marina, will provide sales, installation and service support for the full range of WaterMota’s products, including Doosan, D-I, Hyundai SeasAll, JMP, Craftsman Marine, WhisperPower and Azcue. And Redbay Boats, based in Cushendall, Co. Antrim, has been appointed Irish dealer for the Hyundai SeasAll diesel engine range.
“We’re delighted to sign these dealer agreements, said WaterMota MD, Mike Beacham. “Both companies are very experienced, with good reputations. SSL will provide a welcome addition to our dealer support on the South Coast and Redbay will strengthen our offering in Ireland.”
SSL employs 15 staff, including eight engineers and technicians across its two branches. Staff regularly attend training courses to remain up to date with the latest technologies and careful quality control checks are applied.
Redbay Boats has just launched its second craft fitted with a Hyundai SeasAll engine. The Stormforce 6.5 is fitted with the 250hp S250S version and a Bravo One sterndrive. The boat achieved a top speed of 44 knots in its first sea trial and quickly rose to the plane. A cruising speed of 30 knots at 3,000rpm was achieved.
WaterMota’s offering at Seawork 2013 will be drawn from a wide range of industrial radiator cooled and marine heat exchanger/keel cooled propulsion and auxiliary engines, reversing gearboxes, power take-offs, generating sets, custom built power packs, green energy solutions, propellers, sea water pumps, strainers, steering systems, thrusters, batteries and chargers and most engine room installation fittings.
