Fall on the Tyne is fine for A&P
A&P North East has reported a busy September and October which saw six ships docking on the Tyne.
These included the vessel Seawell, on behalf of Helix Well-Ops UK, for emergency thruster repairs. The walk to work gangway of Reef Despina was demobilised on behalf of Talisman. General dry docking work was performed on Galahad for the North Atlantic Shipping Agency Ltd.
Grande Italia, which also received general dry docking work on behalf of Grimaldi Group, was the the 50th drydocking for the Grimaldi Group with A&P since the first vessel drydocked in 2001. Also on behalf of the Grimaldi Group, the Grande Nigeria was in for dry docking work which included stern ramp repair, hull painting, thrusters overhauls and tank structure repairs.
The Tyne has also recently won fabrication contracts which see the introduction of new clients such as Woodgroup, Davy Markham, Flexlife, Balltec and Single Buoy Mooring Offshore. Not only are these new clients, but also new fields of fabrication for A&P.
