Newbuild CSOV strengthens offshore capability

The advanced vessel build showcases cutting-edge vessel design that Ulstein Verft has tailored for offshore renewables, including wind energy, oil and gas projects.

Ultra-modern

Built under yard number 320, the Windea Curie features a motion-compensated gangway, 3D crane and helideck.

It is based on Ulstein’s SX222 vessel design and incorporates the innovative TWIN X-STERN technology for enhanced efficiency and comfort at sea.

The Windea Curie offers 111 cabins, 90 with daylight, accommodating up to 132 personnel with advanced DP systems for stability in rough seas. 

Windea Curie also includes a heat recovery system and high-efficiency engines to reduce environmental impact, reinforcing the Schulte Group’s sustainability goals.

The vessel is one of four new vessels designed and delivered to BSO by Ulstein.
