Focusing on the sciences involved in hydrographic surveying and marine geophysical investigations, this two day technical conference from 6 to 7 April is being held at the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton UK as part of the wider open Ocean Business 2011 event featuring an exhibition and in-situ training sessions.

Also including student career and recruitment opportunities, Ocean Business 2011 is expected to attract nearly 300 of the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers.

Opening with a keynote address by John Westwood on Prospects for the Global Ocean Industry Business, Offshore Survey proceedings comprise 20 specialist presentations by leading industry exponents over eight main sessions, covering Subsea Positioning, Hydrographic & Seabed Surveys, Survey Operations, Data Processing & Visualisation, and Industry Issues.
