Pangea Software for Italian HO
Pangea of Bologna, which specialises in design of static, dynamic and real-time geographical data management software, has completed delivery of 323 new sub-modules to the Italian Navys Hydrographic Office in Genoa. They will enable the Office to increase its chart production capacity while also improving current automation processes.
Reference stations can be selected either by type (Basic, Plus, Glonass, HP and Project) or communication link (AOR, EMS, Optus &c) and plotted as colour-coded symbols.
The modules will support a series of eight new workstations while extending the capability of a further six presently used for national hydrographic operations.
