Reflectors certification

Essex UK based active and passive radar reflector manufacturer Echomax has had its Wheelmarked EM230 and EM230BR passive radar reflectors granted Module B (Product Performance) and Module D (Quality Control) certification by TÜV SÜD BABT.

This certification follows the recent COSS 24 decision to use EN ISO 8729(1998) as the performance criteria for product covered by Annex A.1/1.33 of the Marine Equipment Directive.

Both the EM230 and EM230BR are now available for lifeboat and rescue craft installation.
