Scandinavian ROV development
MMT, the 200 strong survey company in Gothenburg, Sweden, has teamed with Kystdesign AS of Norway in development and production of a new innovative high speed ROV designed for pipeline inspection operations and seabed surveys, Surveyor.
A prototype is due to be delivered this summer for testing aboard a suitable vessel operated by Reach Subsea, the underwater specialists providing ROV, survey, construction support and decommissioning services. MMT says it will have further information available on the development during Oceanology International.
